ObjectWare currently provides a fully automated tool-based service, named Revive, which converts Sterling Software's COOL:Enterprise™ (formerly ADW™) encyclopedias to functionally equivalent COBOL.
We also provide reengineering services to convert COOL:Enterprise encyclopedias or COBOL to Sterling Software's COOL:Gen™ environment. Converting to COBOL gives organizations that are concerned about maintaining or enhancing COOL:Enterprise-based applications residing on an OS/2 server a safe platform from which to operate. Organizations interested in also reaping the benefits of model-based development and abstraction from code or in obtaining system documentation or performing impact analysis can transition their COOL:Enterprise systems or COBOL systems to COOL:Gen.
